Ronde van Limburg Youth Day puts young cycling talent in the spotlights

26/06/2026

From 17 to 19 July, the second edition of the Ronde van Limburg Youth Day is on the programme. The race brings together young riders for three days filled with cycling in the region of Tongeren-Borgloon.

After a successful first edition, the Ronde van Limburg Youth Day continues to grow this year with a new and more elaborate course. The three-day race spans over multiple youth categories on a weekend full of cycling.

The Men U17 constitute the highlight of the weekend. They compete over an individual time trial and two road races, which will decide about the general classification. Furthermore, the Women U17 and U19 start on Saturday 18 July their one-day race which is part of the Belgian Cycling competition programme. The youngest categories (U9 till U15) close the weekend on Sunday with their races in Kerniel.

New start in Wellen

New this year is the addition of Wellen as hosting town. The three-day race launches in Wellen on Friday 17 July with an individual time trial of about 8 kilometres for the Men U17. A stage that immediately determines the first results in the general classification.

The collaboration with Wellen reinforces the course and creates a more varied progress of the race, with a slightly uphill final.
